Seattle-based Glossier pop-up store brings retail & nature back together (may 2019).
Snow White may be hidden in the new pop-up store by Glossier ! Built in Seattle, this pop-up store displays the best cosmetic products of the brand.
The space has actually been converted into a beautiful clearing : plants, flowers, moss… You will have the impression that you are doing your make-up in a forest. The famous cosmetic brand Glossier collaborated with Studio Lily Kwong. She is a renowned landscaper from NYC, turning into a retail designer for Glossier. She draws her inspiration from the local topography. The Studio also worked hand in hand with local horticulturists so as to make sure that plants & flowers would benefit from a great environment. Temperature, humidity and light have been studied for vegetation to be at its best. It is actually real moss, plants and flowers. Vegetation come from nearby parks and green spaces.
Glossier aims at bringing retail tech & nature back together, along with creating an enjoyable place for customers. This is also a very good way of appealing people into their stores : every one wants his/her picture !
Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest of them all?
